Open — including the uncomfortable things few people talk about loudly. If your question isn't here, get in touch.
Do I have to pay you anything?
No. Mediation service is free for the worker. The fee is paid by the employer. We don't ask for a deposit, we don't ask for payment in advance for an interview, we don't ask for a registration fee. If anyone asks you for money in our name — tell us immediately.
Do I need to have secondary school or experience?
It depends on the position. For some positions, health, motivation and willingness to work are enough. For specialised positions (welders, drivers, caregivers) we ask for proof of qualifications. Get in touch — we'll assess together.
How long do I wait for a job after applying?
It depends on the position, sector, country of arrival, the speed of obtaining the work permit (if needed) and the speed of communication with the employer. A realistic framework for most cases we can't guarantee in advance — we'll give you a framework for your specific situation once we assess the profile and required position.
What documents do I need?
Basics: passport (valid at least 6 more months), birth certificate, criminal record certificate and proof of qualifications if the position requires them. For some countries and positions a medical certificate may also be needed. You get a detailed list from us when we start the procedure.
Who provides accommodation?
Accommodation is typically provided by the employer, but conditions vary. Accommodation conditions are defined by the employer in the cooperation contract with us before any candidate inquiry — and those conditions are passed on to you before signing the employment contract. You'll know: is accommodation included, how much it costs (if deducted from salary), how many people share a room and where it's located. The employer is contractually obliged to stick to those conditions.
What if the job doesn't suit me once I arrive?
Call us first. Often problems (disagreement with foreman, accommodation, shift) can be solved by conversation. No one can force you to stay — if it really doesn't work, we can offer to look for another position with another employer. The reason for leaving we assess together.
Do I have the same conditions as a local worker?
Yes, in every EU member state. In Croatia: by Croatian law, a foreigner with a work permit has the same employment rights as a local worker (minimum wage, overtime, annual leave, sick leave, health insurance). Similar applies in DE/AT/SI/other EU countries — rights are protected by local legislation and EU directives. The employment contract must explicitly cover this.
Where do you send my CV — can I refuse an employer?
You decide. Before we present your profile to any employer, we ask you and describe the position, company and conditions. If you don't like it — we send nothing. We never persuade anyone into a job they don't want.
What if my work permit isn't approved?
Work permits are issued by competent institutions of the country of work — we prepare the documentation, but the decision isn't ours. If the permit isn't approved (most common reasons: incomplete documentation, registered penalty, prior deportation), we try to understand the reason and, if possible, correct and repeat the procedure. You owe us nothing for the service.
Can I bring my family?
It depends on the country of work, type of work permit and your status after a few months/years of work. Most EU countries enable family reunification under certain conditions (stable job, income, accommodation). That's a process you lead with institutions of the country of work — we can point you in the right direction, but we don't lead the procedure.
