1. General provisions

By using the website www.peoplepons.com (the “Website”) you accept these Terms of Use in their entirety. The Website is maintained and operated by:

People Pons d.o.o. is an authorised employment mediation agency holding licences of the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy of the Republic of Croatia 205/20 and 359/20.

2. Scope of services

The Website serves to provide information about the employment mediation services offered by People Pons d.o.o.:

• Mediation in the employment of workers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and other Western Balkan countries for employers in Croatia and the European Union
• Preparation of documentation for work permits and worker registration procedures
• Support for employers and workers throughout the employment process

The specific terms of cooperation (price, deadlines, guarantees) are defined in a separate contract between People Pons d.o.o. and the client/candidate.

3. Use of the website

The user undertakes to use the Website in accordance with the law and to:

• refrain from publishing or transmitting unlawful, offensive or harmful content
• refrain from attempting to gain unauthorised access to the system, from automatically downloading content (scraping), or from compromising the security of the Website
• refrain from misrepresenting their identity
• respect intellectual property rights

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Website (texts, graphics, logo, brand name, photographs, videos, code, design) is the property of People Pons d.o.o. or is used with the permission of the rights holder. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use of the content without written permission is not permitted.

5. Use of the Leo AI assistant

The Website may contain an AI assistant (Leo) that uses Anthropic Claude technology. A conversation with Leo is for informational purposes only. All specific offers and contracts undergo human review by our team. Further information on the processing of data through the AI assistant is available in the Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

The Website and its content are provided “as is”. People Pons d.o.o. makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness or current timeliness of all information.

People Pons d.o.o. is not liable for damage arising from:

• the inability to access the Website or technical failures beyond our control
• the user’s reliance on information published on the Website without consulting our team
• the conduct of third parties to whom we link from the Website

Verification of candidate documents. As part of the mediation service, People Pons d.o.o. verifies candidate documents (diplomas, passports, attestations, certificates, etc.) on sight — establishing whether they exist, whether they are formally valid and whether they correspond to the person. People Pons d.o.o. does not issue these documents and cannot guarantee the absolute truthfulness of their content, as they are issued by competent third-party bodies (schools, institutions, state authorities). We are responsible for the diligent performance of the agreed verification, but not for a forgery produced by a third party that could not reasonably have been detected on sight.

These limitations do not apply in the case of intentional or grossly negligent conduct, as provided by Croatian law.

The Website may contain links to external websites that are not under the control of People Pons d.o.o. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of external websites.

8. Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the GDPR Notice. By using the Website you also accept these two documents.

9. Amendments to the terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use. Amendments are published on this page with the date of the last amendment indicated. Continued use of the Website after the publication of amendments constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the law of the Republic of Croatia. The court in Zadar has jurisdiction over all disputes, unless mandatory regulations provide otherwise.
